We’re proud to offer fantastic facilities for shooters of all levels, including:

• A 250m rifle range
• A 100m silhouette range
• 6 pistol bays
• A communal braai area to relax and socialize
• Clean and convenient restroom facilities

Our club shoots are always a blast! With 5 or more stages (depending on the Match Director and the weather), we make sure the day is both fun and challenging. What makes our events truly special is the friendly atmosphere. We all pitch in to set up and break down stages, enjoy some friendly competition, and constantly learn from one another.

At our club, we believe in helping each other grow. Our members are always eager to assist, coach, and support anyone who needs it. We’re especially patient with new shooters, making sure everyone feels safe and builds confidence with their firearm. After all, we’ve all been there before and know how important it is to make everyone feel welcome!

Founded in 2016, the Hoedspruit Defensive Pistol Club (HDPC) is dedicated to promoting active sport shooting for the local community and firearm enthusiasts alike. Whether you’re looking to sharpen your skills, enjoy some competitive shooting, or prepare for real-life defensive scenarios, HDPC offers a variety of shooting activities designed to challenge and inspire you. Regular practice is key, and we provide the perfect environment to help you grow!

Our club is proudly affiliated with the South African Defensive Pistol Association (SADPA) and follows its rules and regulations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

We shoot at the Sandspruit Shooting Range in Hoedspruit, an NRCS-accredited facility that offers a top-notch setting for all your shooting needs.
